On behalf of our parish priest, Father Joseph, and the staff of St Michael’s Catholic Primary School, Nowra, I would like to extend to you a very warm welcome to our school website. Read more About Us.
Founded in the 1870’s by Catholic lay teachers and subsequently operated from 1893 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, this school is now administered by the Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong under the jurisdiction of the Bishop of Wollongong. Our school has a wonderful Catholic tradition and many people of all ages fondly recall their primary years at St Michael’s. See What We Offer.
St Michael's is an educational and faith community in which the parish, school and parents work in partnership to provide a quality Catholic education for the children of the parish. In this community we endeavour to develop quality relationships, develop a love and practice of the Catholic faith, provide enriching learning experiences and establish effective care networks.
