Pastoral Care & Wellbeing

Supporting our students
At St Michael's, we assist students to work towards their full potential spiritually, physically, socially, intellectually and emotionally.

Positive Behaviours for Learning

Our 'Positive Behaviours for Learning' (PB4L) framework is implemented at St Michael's to help create vibrant and positive learning environments and enhance respectful relationships and engagement of students in their learning.

Online Safety and Anti-Bullying Support

At St Michael's, we believe that all members of the community have the right to a learning and working environment free from intimidation, humiliation and harm – both in person and online. Read more about our school programs, and see our useful links and resources for students and parents.

Student Support Services

St Michael's works closely with CatholicCare to ensure the pastoral needs of all students and their families are supported. A CatholicCare school counsellor is available to work with parents and students to support their social and emotional wellbeing.

We also have a Pastoral Care Worker two days a week at St Michael's, and a Defence School Transition Aide (DSTA) to support students from Australian Defence Force families.

Parents as Partners in Pastoral Care and Wellbeing

The pastoral care and wellbeing of all members of our community is of the utmost importance at St Michael's. Parents support this by partnering with the school to maintain a safe, supportive and respectful school environment.
